The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani East Hon. Kwasi Ameyaw Kyeremeh and Municipal Chief Executive MCE) for Sunyani, Hon. Ansu Kumi paid a courtesy call on the chief of Atronie Odiawisie Boamponsem Darko II and his Elders to congratulate him for being confirmed by Otumfou Nana Osei Tutu II as the legitimate chief of Atronie after a decade long chieftaincy dispute.

They were joined by the Municipal Coordinating Director Dr. Philip Baazeng, Heads of Departments and Units of the Assembly and some Constituency Executives of the NPP.

Odiawisie Darko II thanked them for the visit. He used the occasion to appeal for developmental structures in his area, notably among them was Senior High School to help improve education in Atronie and its environs. He advised the MP and MCE to partner traditional authorities in development and pledge to support them in the quest to bring development to the Municipality.

Hon. Kyeremeh, MP and Hon. Ansu the MCE took turns to address Odiawisie and his elders. They congratulated him on his victory and pledged to collaborate with him and his elders for the development of the area.
