The Member of Parliament for Sunyani, Hon. Kwasi Ameyaw Kyeremeh has emphasized the importance of instilling a maintenance culture at the newly established Model STEM School in Sunyani.

Speaking at a stakeholders engagement on the operationalisation of the school, Hon. Ameyaw Kyeremeh stressed that a maintenance culture is crucial to ensure the longevity and effectiveness of the school's facilities and equipment.

"The success of this Model STEM School depends not only on its state-of-the-art facilities but also on our ability to maintain them properly," Hon. Ameyaw Kyeremeh said. "I urge the school administration, teachers, students, and the community to take ownership of maintenance and work together to create a culture of sustainability."

The MP called on the Ghana Education Service, the school administration, and stakeholders to prioritize maintenance and allocate resources to support regular upkeep.

By fostering a maintenance culture, the Model STEM School can serve as a model for other educational institutions in Ghana and help develop a sense of responsibility and sustainability among students.
