The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Hon Ansu Kumi said that, the training aims at enhancing the drivers' skills and knowledge to provide safe and efficient transportation services. He said that, the SMA is committed to providing quality services to its citizens, and this training program is a step towards achieving that goal. “By investing in the development of our drivers, the Assembly aim is to enhance the overall driving experience and contribute to the well-being of the municipality.
The drivers were taking through topics such as the need to apply road safety rules and regulations at work to save lives and understanding driving as a calling to serve humanity, the drivers were trained on defensive driving techniques to prevent accidents, vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures, customer service and public relations skills, Safety protocols and emergency procedures and Traffic regulations and laws
The Municipal Director of the Human Resource Department (HRD) Mr. Isaac Boakye said in an address that, the training is part of the assembly's efforts to improve its transportation services and promote road safety in the municipality. The drivers showed enthusiasm and appreciation for the training, acknowledging its importance in their daily work.
